The Amazing Water Cycle

Finally, the water that falls to Earth begins its journey back to the oceans, lakes, and rivers. This is collection and it includes runoff. Runoff is the water that flows over the land surface, either soaking into the ground to become groundwater or flowing into streams and rivers. Even the water we drink has been part of this endless cycle, traveling through the atmosphere, land, and sea for billions of years.
